About the Item

Unusual Antique Diamond ring with all metal parts in solid Silver. Very likely Russian made, I got it together with many Russian made items that date to late Imperial period. Not hallmarked, made ca. late XIX - early XX century. Crown 16 mm x 10 mm x 6.5 mm deep is an openwork Flower of 23 Diamonds in Silver clusters. All stones have open backs. Largest stone in the center is of old European Diamond cut Ø 4 mm x 2.5 mm / 0.3 ct. 22 others of gradual diameters,all rose cut. Total Diamonds weight here / about 1 ctw. Color ca. H - J /VS , one minor stone is Yellow tinted. Size: Ø US 5.5 / 16.10 mm. Re-sizable. Weight: 2.5 grams. Fine used condition,central stone has a tiny chip on facets that is undetectable to naked eye /visible under x 10 magnification. > Most of the items that we sell are not new at all if not stated otherwise. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
