Old Ring. Gold, Silver and Diamonds of different hand- cut. Silver on Gold openwork crown with 21 diamond stones. Band tested solid 14K Yellow Gold . Largest stone is an old diamond oval cut Diamond 5.25 mm x 4.5 mm x 2.52 deep ca / ca 0.5 ct + two Ø 4 mm x 2.5 mm deep / 0.25ct each ,color ca I,J / VS + 18 small sized rose cut diamonds , ca 0.25ctw .Thus total weight of all diamonds is ca. 1.25 ctw. All stones are hand cut, all have open backs. No hallmarks. Fine Used condition. Patina on metal. No damaged or missing stones. Crown is 17 mm x 15 mm at axes x 4 mm deep. Size : Ø 6.5 US / 16.92 mm. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post. CUSTOM WORK : About Resizing: Resizing of rings can be done on request.The work will be done by experienced professional jeweler. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose , if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed. Polishing of the band is always a final step of any resizing but machinery used for polishing causes vibration that old rings (with prongs for example ) often do not like at all. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
