Sterling silver Spider Ring by Navajo silversmith Herbert Ration. The Spider is composed of gemstones: a Malachite body, Jasper head and Carnelian eyes. In some southwestern tribes' spiders represent creativity, balance, harmony and weaving. Measures: 3/4” x 1 3/4” Spider Size 8 Creator: Herbert Ration was born & raised in Crownpoint, which is between Albuquerque and Gallup New Mexico, right in the heart of the Navajo reservation. Herbert is a 9th generation metalsmith and one of the Navajo Nations most respected artists. He is widely known for his beetle, spider and dragonfly pins.
