18 Karat Yellow Gold and Diamond Feather Ring Vintage 1920s Art Deco
About the Item
This is one of those rings you will probably never see again; it is just that unusual. It has come down from one family with European roots, and was always known as the "flapper girl feather ring." We're proud to present this historical Art Deco treasure, fresh from the estate.
The exceptional craftsmanship of this ring is the first thing you'll notice. Designed as a curled feather, every surface is curved and rounded to intricate perfection. Eight sparkling single-cut diamonds are set atop the white gold "shaft" of the feather, running across the center of the face. Individual barbs of yellow gold connect the shaft to the edges, gradually increasing in length and providing a unique textured accent to complete the feather motif. This piece was meticulously planned, lovingly crafted, and probably impossible to replicate today. The shaft curls all the way back to the top of the feather, closing the band perfectly for a USA size 4.25 finger. However, resizing of the band would be possible by your master jeweler if so required.
Excellent vintage condition with very light wear. Absolutely no missing or replaced stones, and no dings, dents or cracks to be found on the gold. The interior of the band contains an 18K gold mark, with two partial hallmarks on the bottom of the exterior. Gold purity and genuine stones were confirmed and guaranteed by X-Ray and gemstone testing. A remarkable opportunity to acquire one of the most elegant, gorgeous and streamlined Art Deco pieces we have ever seen.
