1960s Bent Exner Kinetic Pearl and Gold Ring

A vintage handmade and unique pearl, diamond and textured 18 karat yellow gold ring, by Gerda Flöckinger, United Kingdom, c. 1970. Signed GF. Ring is a size 6.25 and measures 0.70" x 0.38" x 0.40". The ring is work of art, poetic and radiant. The craftsmanship is superb with the conventional marriage of diamonds and pearls set aside for a newer more modern arrangement in 1970. Certainly a forever ring by a renowned maker. Even an engagement ring? A leader of the avant garde modern jewelry movement in London during the 1960s, Gerda Flockinger has long been regarded as the one of the greatest British modern artist jewelers. Rare sterling silver ring with a light wash of gold on the kinetic rocking balls. Created by Bent Exner of Denmark in the 1960s. Size 5.5 and in very good condition.

An impressive antique pearl and 0.51 Carot diamond, 18k rose gold and 18k white gold set twist ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive pearl and diamond ring has been crafted in 18k rose gold with an 18k white gold setting. The pierced decorated, twist design displays a feature 4.5mm pearl, flanked diagonally on either side by an individually claw set Old European round cut diamond. The twist design setting that surrounds the central arrangement is embellished with a further eight pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. The 18k rose gold ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and are accented with a groove decoration which continues around the shank. The interior of the shank has an engraved decoration, however this is partially worn and illegible. This antique dress ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold.
