About the Item
A 22K gold ring decorated with Indian Benarasi Meena (enamel) and studded with nine precious natural gemstones including diamond.
The enamel on this ring is an old art which comes from benares school of art from India. The enamel done is a painting art enamel done on gold in pink colour. The enamel depicts flower motifs in various shades of pink and white and is followed with a green enamel on the lower bottom side.
The navratna are oval ruby cabachon at the centre surrounded with - clockwise from top - diamond polki, pearl, coral, Hessonite garnet, blue sapphire, cat's eye, Yellow Sapphire and emerald.
The combination of nine planetary gemstones is a powerful hindu functioning said to shield against the harmful effect of planetary influences.
