60s Opal Diamond Ring Toi et Moi Vintage 18k Yellow Gold Sz 4 Fine Jewelry
About the Item
Stylish vintage opal & diamond 'Toi et Moi' ring crafted in 18k yellow gold (circa 1960s).
Cabochon cut pear shaped opals measures 8.5mm x 6mm. Diamonds total an estimated 0.28 carats (estimated at I-J color and VS2-SI2 clarity). Note: small chip to one opal (visible under a 10x loupe).
Set into a romantic "Toi et Moi" design (French for "You and Me") the textured bypass ring makes a nice statement on the hand. The natural opals show vivid green, blue and turquoise color flashes. They light up beautifully in natural sunlight (opals are hard to photograph & the vivid color flashes were not captured in the images!) The medium rise ring (7.5mm - 0.29 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
