Antique Art Deco Emerald, Onyx and Old Cut Diamond Ring in 18k Gold and Platinum
About the Item
A beautiful antique Art Deco emerald, onyx and old cut diamond ring set in 18k yellow gold and platinum.
The ring is centrally set with a cushion cut emerald which is surrounded by platinum openwork with onyx and further emerald panels. The ring is set to the top and sides with an old cut diamond and bordered by scrolled gold work and smaller diamonds. The shoulders are scrolled and set with three graduating old cut diamonds.
The ring echoes the Art Deco era beautifully with a striking geometric pattern and bold contrast between the emeralds, onyx and diamonds. It would make a perfect statement piece!
For size reference the head of the ring measures 1.5 x 2.5 centimetres and there is a gross weight of 6.3 grams. There is an estimated emerald weight of 0.35 carats. There is a estimated total diamond weight of 1.70 carats ranging J-K in colour with VS-SI clarity. The ring is currently a UK finger size O 1/2 but can be resized for a perfect fit. Due to the age the ring is not hallmarked however has been tested for 18k gold and platinum.
