Art Deco 1920s Platinum & 18K Yellow Gold Emerald & Diamond Panel Ring
About the Item
An Art Deco emerald, diamond, platinum and yellow gold ring, comprising one square cut emerald, and old round cut diamonds, set in platinum, to an 18 karat yellow gold band.
This elegant Art Deco ring is set to the centre with a square step cut emerald. The emerald is a fresh, minty green, and glows from within its millegrain edged bezel setting. The emerald has good clarity, with minimal wear. The emerald is flanked by a pair of old round cut diamonds, held within bezel settings, which are bright, white, sparkly and well-matched with one another. The emerald and diamonds are set to the centre of a lozenge-shaped panel, the design of which is echoed in the rest of the ring. The ring is complete with fan-shaped motifs, and light, millegrain adorned piercing, which allows the ring to have presence on the hand, whilst still feeling elegant. The shoulders of the ring lead to a plain, polished band of yellow gold. The ring is in excellent condition, with the millegrain detailing still crisp. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The head of the ring measures 19.5mm long, and 15mm wide, sitting 5mm off the hand. The band measures 1.2mm wide at the back.
