About the Item
A French platinum and diamond ring with an asymmetric design and geometric form set with one emerald cut diamond weighing approximately 0.85 carats with F-G colour and SI2-P1 clarity due to a dark crystal inclusion to one side of the stone’s table. This is barely noticeable to the unaided eye.
The central stone is surrounded by 52 single-cut and 6 step cut diamonds with a total approximate weight of 1.60 carats in the geometric curves and steps typical of the 1940’s design. The total diamond weight in this ring is approximately 2.45 carats.
The ring is unmarked, but typical of the French manufacture of this age.
Currently a size 6 US (L in UK sizing), but may be sized if required.
