Art Nouveau Oval Coral Ring of 10k Gold
About the Item
A vibrant coral ring from the late Art Nouveau era (circa 1910-1920).
The ring features a deep orange coral cabochon nestled in an ornate foliate mounting. The ring is unmarked, but acid tests for 10k gold.
The face of the ring measures 0.6 inches tall by 0.4 inches wide. The ring is currently a size 5, but can be re-sized for an additional charge.
The condition is quite good; however, under magnification, you can see small bits of glue residue beneath the prongs.
The metal content of this ring was verified via XRF (x ray analysis) and with jeweler's acids.
