Arts & Crafts Cabochon Moonstone Ring
About the Item
This delightful ring is crafted from two tone gold and is set with a cabochon moonstone. Manufactured during the Arts & Crafts period of the early 20th Century, the piece is likely to have originated in the United States where the movement had a large following. The ring is crafted from 14 karat yellow and white gold with the cabochon moonstone surrounded by a white gold border of flowers and leaves. The ring is simply stamped '14K' which unfortunately does not give us the name of a maker but tells us it is very likely American. In very good order the piece shows only some minor wear to the stone and gold surface, commensurate with age and use. A beautiful example of Arts & Crafts jewellery from the United States which could be a great piece for regular wear.
