Deco Retro 1935 Tank Chevalier Ring In 18Kt Gold Platinum Diamond And Sapphires
About the Item
A chevalier geometric ring from the retro-machine age period.
Great chevalier ring, created during the late art-deco and the retro periods, back in the 1935. This geometric ring has been crafted with bold volumetric patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and platinum. The manufacture and the way in which this precious ring was made is gorgeous. Created with well-defined geometric volumes with their sharp rectilinear angles and their circular curves. It is embellished with a natural earth mined diamond.
Diamonds: Mounted in the center in an inlaid setting, with 1 European round cut diamond of approximate 0.75 carat, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
Sapphires: Mounted in a channel setting, with 7 baguette step cut of blue sapphires with a weight of about 1.05 carats.
Weight: 14.40 Grams, (9.23 Dwt).
Size: 7 and may be sized on request.
Measurements: 22 mm by 14 mm (0.87 X 0.56 Inches) and raise 6 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Unmarked but tested for Platinum and gold
Tank Style
Immediately after the first world war, the creation of jewelry with geometric patterns inspired by the tracks of the war tanks became very fashionable. The synthesis of these designs were adapted during the art deco period and after the post-war, sometimes called machine age because the strong volumetric shapes.
Collateral: This ring is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
