Edwardian Diamond Ring
About the Item
This captivating Edwardian era ring centers on a shimmering .80 carat old mine-cut diamond that displays a phenomenon called the kozibe effect. This means that when the diamond is face-up, the culet reflects in the crown facets, adding charm and character to this lovely antique diamond. Two shimmering diamond trefoils embrace the center diamond creating a finger elongating effect. Currently a finger size 5.
Metal: platinum topped gold
Diamonds: center estimated .80 carat old mine cut diamond with SI2 clarity and J color with beautiful kozibe effect. Six brilliant cut diamonds estimated .60 total carats with SI1 - SI2 range in clarity and I-J range in color. One rose cut in the shoulder was replaced with a single cut diamond. One rose cut in the shoulder is very worn.
