Sculptural cocktail ring designed by Georg Hornemann.
An statement one of a kind ring, created in Germany by the designer and goldsmith Georg Hornemann. This fabulous cocktail ring is of very contemporary style and has been crafted with the shape of one symmetric pyramid in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with a high polished finish. This ring is embellished with very fine assortment of calibrated, natural and earth-mined gemstones such; eighty-four white colorless diamonds and eighty vivid purple sapphires. Jewelry pieces by Georg Hornemann are very important, coveted and always one of a kind. They are seldom offered in the market and are a great addition for any serious discriminating jewelry collector.
Diamonds: Mount in flush pave settings, with 80 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 6.65 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-1 clarity.
Diamonds: Mount in bezel settings, with 4 princess cut diamonds, 0.60 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-1 clarity.
Sapphires: Mount in a flush pave setting, with 80 calibrated round faceted cuts of natural vivid purple sapphires, with a total weight of 7.24 carats,
Birthstone: Purple sapphires for the month of September.
Weight: 31.60 Grams, (20.46 Dwt).
Size: 7.25 and may be easily sized on request.
Measurements: 24.5 mm by 22.75 mm (0.97 x 0.90 Inches) and raise 16 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "HORNEMANN .750".
Georg Hornemann
Georg Hornemann born in April 21, 1940 in Dessau. He is a German goldsmith and jewelry artist as well as the founder of the company of the same name, Georg Hornemann Goldschmiedeatelier KG, which is now run by his son, Alexander Hornemann. Hornemann has won national and international prizes for his work of jewelry and art objects. He lives and works in Düsseldorf and Berlin.

This gorgeous ring was crafted with bold look in white gold of 18 karats and a round bezel in yellow gold that is holding a gorgeous natural blue star sapphire of twenty-nine carats. The ring is very heavy, massive, daring and one hundred and twenty-five grams of solid gold were used in its making.
Sapphire: Mount in the center in a bezel setting, with 1 round cabochon cut (16.1 x 16.2 x 12.5 mm) of a natural star sapphire of 29.12 carats. The sapphire is gem quality, display a great asterism, is from Burmese origin and is not heated.
Diamonds: Mount on the sides in flush settings, with 2 round brilliant cut diamonds, 1 carat, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.
Birthstone: Sapphire for the month of September.
Weight: 125.20 Grams, (80.61 Dwt).
