Modernist cocktail ring designed by Joaquin S'Paliu.
This ring is a wonderful example of the Spanish modernist jewelry from the 1970. The cocktail ring was created by the artist jeweler Joaquim S'Paliu in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. Designed with bold shapes, clean lines, and an aesthetic. The ring is very chic and will stand out of your finger by far.
Gemstones: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 round conical cabochon cut about 20 carats.
Weight: 14.5 Grams, (9.40 Dwt).
Size: 7.75 and may be sized on special request.
Measurements: 23 mm by 17 mm (0.91 x 0.67 Inches) and raise 17 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with Spanish marks; the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "S'PALIU SPAIN STERLING".
Joachim S’Paliu
He was a Spanish jewelry artist that born in 1944 in Cordoba. The designer was at his creative peak and produced significant works in silver during the 1960’s and 70’s. His pieces are strongly Modernist and distinctive. In the 1960s, as winds of change swept across the globe, the world was breaking free from the shackles of tradition. Joachim S’Paliu designs weren’t just pieces of metal and stone; they were wearable sculptures, echoing the boldness of modernism and the elegance of Cordoba's golden past. His designs were not just mere ornaments, each piece he crafted was like a small sculpture, a work of art that could be worn and admired.
