Large 1970s Sculptural 14k Gold, Coral, & Garnet Gemstone Cocktail Ring
About the Item
A fine 1970s handmade studio cocktail ring.
In 14k yellow gold.
Bezel set to the center with a very large angel skin coral cabochon in a sculptural, flowing organic mount interspersed with single cut garnet gemstones.
The mount's design leans heavily on Art Nouveau lines. It has wonderful bench made feel with traces of the maker's hand (including tool marks) throughout.
The six garnets add a contrasting color profile and flashes of brilliance when moved through the light.
Simply a wonderful cocktail ring!
