Fine, large Art Deco period Amethyst and Diamond ring in a beautifully detailed 18K white gold setting. Early 20th Century The amethyst, measuring approximately 22.5 carats, lively rich purple color. 14 single cut diamonds, seven on each side of the amethyst, approximately .3TCW Substantial, stylish setting marked 750 for 18K gold on the interior of band. Very good condition commensurate with age, a few very slight nicks observerved under 10X magnification 22mm by 19mm front measurements Size 6.25US

The basket centers a 1.2 carat marquise shaped diamond above an emerald cut .60 carat diamond, flanked by a pair of Old European cut collet set diamonds, .30 TCW, with 8 single cut diamonds composing the body of the basket and 4 collet set Old Mine diamonds interspersed with the sapphires and ruby gemstones. Tutti Frutti Art Deco rings are exceedingly rare, most creations were designed in the form of brooches.
