Large Multicolor Tourmaline and Sapphire Platinum Cocktail Ring
About the Item
For this 36,7 carats multicolored pink, green, grey tourmaline, I wanted to create a strong and a bit eccentric platinum cocktail ring. I surrounded the tourmaline with sapphires that show the same colors that can be found in the center gem. To give that large ring somewhat of a fairy-tale tone, I set the 3.5 carats sapphires in classic prong settings towards the outer edge of the ring. Towards the inside, facing the tourmaline, I gave them clean settings without prongs to keep the center pure and strong. As the center of the ring is oriented between two fingers, the large ring with its deep tourmaline and 30.3 grams of platinum is gently integrated into the shape of the hand. If you are looking for a strong eye catcher with an romantic touch, that looks like it wants to tell a story, that might be the ring for you.
