About the Item
Italian cluster cocktail ring with pearls and onyx.
This is a substantial over sized cocktail ring, created in Italy during the late mid-century period, back in the 1960's. This ring was designed as a domed cluster, carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished and textured finishes. The ring is embellished with a great assortment of twenty-seven gemstones, such a sugarloaf cut onyx and cultured white pearls.
Onyx: Mounted in the center in a bezel setting, with 1 round sugarloaf cabochon cut (14 x 14 x 10 mm) of a natural black onyx with an estimate weight of about 12 carats.
Pearls: Mounted in wires settings, with an arrangement of 26 cultured white round pearls of 3 mm.
Weight: 16.20 Grams, (10.40 Dwt).
Size: 7.25 and may be easily sized up or down on special request.
Measurements: 27 mm by 25 mm (1.06 x 0.98 Inches) and raise 16 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Unmarked, electronically tested for the assay of the 18kt gold.
Collateral: This cocktail ring is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The 21 gemstones are secured in their settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
