OCTAVIO SARDA Spanish Modernist Earrings-Ring Set In 18Kt Gold With Coral & Onyx

An sculptural modernist earrings-ring suite, designed by Octavio Sarda Palau.
This is a fabulous geometric jewelry set composed by a pair of hoops earrings and a cocktail ring. The set have been created in Barcelona Spain by the artist goldsmith Octavio Sarda Palau, back in the 1970. This modernist suite is very unusual and has been carefully crafted in three dimensions in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished finish. The three pieces are embellished with a checkerboard design, which is created with inlaid settings of twelve carvings of red coral and nine in black onyx, adding a great contrast to the design. The earrings are fitted at the reverse with concealed French omega back for fastening clips and the addition of gold posts for pierced ears may be easily installed on special request.

Hallmarks: They are stamped with the maker's mark associated to Octavio Sarda Palau, the mark for the assay and warranty of the .750/.999 gold and signed as follows, "SPAIN 18K".
Collateral: This Octavio Sarda suite is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this Octavio Sarda suite is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The gemstones are secured in the settings. This set has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
