About the Item
Orloff of Denmark; 10 Karat Gold Ring set with 12 Natural Cambodian Blue Zircons totaling to 6 carats.
This exquisite piece is a 10-karat gold ring, gracefully set with radiant Cambodian blue zircons that exude luxury and elegance. The central gemstone is a large oval-cut zircon, displaying a deep, enchanting blue hue reminiscent of the clear Cambodian skies. It is meticulously faceted, allowing it to capture and reflect light, creating a dance of brilliance and shimmer with every movement.
Encircling the centerpiece are multiple round-cut zircons, each one carefully selected for its vibrant color and clarity. These stones are slightly lighter in tone, creating a delightful contrast that accentuates the central stone's rich color.
The setting is pure 10-karat gold, chosen for its warm, golden luster which complements the cool blue of the zircons perfectly.
The Zircon, in our opinion is a stone that can be coupled with anything and still produce a fine piece of work. Therefore we have paired it with itself, to bring forth a beauty that has been overlooked by the majority of the industry for far too long.
These gems have a strong blue hue with a medium tone and vivid saturation, making them 'Ocean Blue Zircons'.
Natural Zircon, which is a mineral that forms naturally deep in the Earth's crust, unfortunately tends to gets mistaken with the diamond imitation 'CZ' or 'Cubic Zirconia', a man-made mineral, synthesized in a lab through the mixing of zirconium oxide powder and metals such as magnesium and calcium.
The Zircon is an utterly outstanding gem that can take up to several million years to form and survive countless geological events, it simply does not deserve to be mistaken for a synthetic that can be manufactured in as little as 5 days.
