Rare Art Deco 2.30 TCW Diamond 14K White Gold Cocktail Ring with Concealed Watch
About the Item
This striking, elegant Art Deco cocktail ring holds a delightful surprise- a miniature watch is revealed when you open the front diamond set filigree panel, making it a marvelous conversation piece. This unusual time piece is complex and well thought out- the front panel is spring loaded so that it opens easily and firmly closes. Wonderful detailed gold work. The original safety hook is intact, slightly off center and is not needed to close the panel securely. The watch is mechanical and the winding mechanism is cleverly concealed as one of the decorative elements of the side of the ring. The central round diamond is approximately .50 carats, 22 single cut diamonds, approximately .85 carats, 31 single cut diamonds approximately .95 carats, total carat weight- 2.30 carats.

Condition: Very Good- the watch is in working order, the crystal of the watch with wear in the center from the central diamond, dial with age appropriate surface wear, reinforced at the hinge, period personal inscription on back.
