Silver and Gilded Silver Ring by Swedish master Carl Forsberg Year 1990
About the Item
This ring is a unique piece of jewelry that combines both silver and gilded silver elements. It has a broad, unevenly textured band that narrows slightly at the back, giving it a rustic and handcrafted appearance. The top of the ring features an intricate three-dimensional design made of gilded silver that has an organic, almost melted look, intertwining and overlapping in an abstract form. On one side, the shank extends upwards to blend with the top pattern, further emphasizing the sculptural quality of the ring.
The contrast between the bright gold tones and the subdued silver adds striking visual interest, making the ring not only a wearable accessory but also a miniature piece of art. Enjoy!
Carl Forsberg had a small workshop south of Stockholm. Huis designs are usually large and bold. He had a small production and his works are rare to find.
