Vintage 1960s - 1970s Brutalist Era Turquoise and Diamond 18 Karat Fashion Ring

This big, bold zany but elegant circa 1960s cocktail ring is carefully constructed with an organic motif in solid 18 karat yellow and white gold. The top of the ring is a separate construction from the base or shank and boasts three large approximately 8mm round Akoya pearls accented with single-cut diamonds weighing 0.43 carat total and are H color grade and SI1 clarity grade. The ring sways with yellow and white gold stylized leaf elements with the diamonds bead and prong set in the white gold. The yellow gold leaves have a crinkly texture that adds to the zaniness of this ring. The top is attached to the satin finished shank which measures approximately 5.3mm at the shoulders tapering to 3.2mm at the base.
