Vintage Ruby, Sapphire and Diamond Toi-Et-Moi Crossover Ring in 18k Yellow Gold
About the Item
A beautiful vintage ruby, sapphire and diamond toi-et-moi crossover ring set in 18k yellow gold.
The phrase ‘toi-et-moi’ simply means ‘me and you’ and is famously known for being one of the most romantic ring designs in the jewellery industry. A classic toi-et-moi ring features two stones of a similar size and cut, just like this piece, these larger stones are to symbolise two souls becoming one.
This piece is a beautiful example of earlier craftsmanship and is set with fancy cut ruby and blue sapphire. Both larger stones are securely three claw set and sided by five tapered baguette cut diamonds. These diamonds are the perfect amount of sparkle to the piece and really enhance the vibrancy of the red ruby and blue sapphire.
Due to the design and style, this is a true one of a kind piece of jewellery which could be worn for a variety of occasions.
There is an estimated total ruby weight of exactly 1.00 carat. There is an estimated total blue sapphire weight of 0.92 carats. Lastly there is an estimated total diamond weight of 0.60 carats, ranging G-H in colour with VVS-VS clarity.
