Victorian Essex Crystal Yellow Gold Dog Cocktail Ring

An impressive Essex crystal reverse intaglio and 9 karat yellow gold 'dog' cocktail ring; part of our diverse antique Victorian jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive antique Essex crystal ring has been crafted in 9k yellow gold.
The antique dog ring is ornamented with a feature hand painted Essex crystal reverse intaglio, depicting a 'King Charles Spaniel' dog.
The circular frame is ornamented with an applied rope twist decorated border.
The bifurcated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and join plain ring shank with a double cuffed design.
This antique Victorian dress ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9k gold.
Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone.
Condition
This impressive antique 1890s cocktail ring is fine quality set with an impressive hand painted Essex crystal reverse intaglio. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with an applied rope twist decoration.
