Antique Ruby & Diamond Ring in 14ct Rose Gold
About the Item
Fabulous antique five stone ruby and diamond eternity or engagement ring set in 14ct gold.
With two blood red rubies in old cut style flanked by three Old European Cut white diamonds weighing an approximate total of 0.77ct. Old European Cut diamonds were popular in the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian periods, from the 1700s through to the end of the 1800s.
There are a couple of knocks and chips from the rubies, testament to their age, they have seen life and have a tale to tell.
The red rubies are beautifully complemented by the warm tones of the rose gold setting, beautifully worked rex claws and smooth polished band.
