Victorian Style Five-Stone Ruby and Diamond Ring
About the Item
A Victorian style five-stone ruby and diamond ring, the ring alternately-set with three graduating old brilliant-cut diamonds and two round faceted rubies, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1.25 carats, the rubies estimated to weigh a total of 1.20 carats, all claw set within and ornately-carved mount of scroll design, to a tapered D-section yellow gold shank with fluted carved shoulders, later hallmarked London, 18ct gold, head measuring 0.6x2.1cm, finger size M, gross weight 4.5 grams.
This ring is in very good condition.
A very fine Victorian style five stone ring. This ring comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and features alternating rubies and diamonds. The rubies are a gorgeous shade of deep crimson, and the diamonds scintillate wonderfully. The yellow gold gallery mount is inspired by Victorian settings and looks wonderful on the finger.
