Certified Art Deco Style Diamond and Sapphire Engagement Ring Set in Platinum
About the Item
A truly beautiful Art Deco inspired diamond and sapphire engagement ring set in platinum.
The ring is set with a sparkly certified round brilliant cut diamond which is four claw set to center. The diamond is set in this beautiful handcrafted sapphire mounting with sapphires set within the graduating shoulders and head of the ring so that the blue colour can be appreciated from all angles. The ‘pop’ of blue coloring against the central white diamond is simply superb and the combination really echos that of the Art Deco era.
Due to the design this ring would make the ideal engagement ring or ‘other hand’ piece. The head of the ring is slightly raised meaning that it can be paired nicely against an eternity and/or wedding band.
The central diamond is accompanied by a GCS laboratory certificate as being 2.59 carats, I in colour with SI2 clarity. Within the mount, there is a total sapphire weight of 0.55 carats and all the stones are perfectly matched in colour. The ring is currently a UK finger size M, USA finger size 6 ¼. This piece can be resized upon request for a perfect fit!
For size reference the head of the ring measures 0.85 x 0.85 centimetres and there is a combined weight of 4.3 grams. The ring is hallmarked 950 for platinum with SL (Susannah Lovis) makers mark.
