A large sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the oval mixed-cut Burma sapphire weighing a total 5.69 carats surrounded by fourteen round brilliant-cut diamonds weighing a total estimated 1.80 carats mounted in white millegrain settings, the head of the ring measuring approximately 22mm x 16mm with an openwork gallery, trefoil shoulders and a shank stamped on the outside with the dog's head French control mark for platinum, later hallmarked London, 2012, bearing the Bentley&Skinner sponsor mark, head measuring 2.2x1.6cm, finger size K, gross weight 5.9 grams. Finger size K This ring is in very good condition, with slight abrasion to sapphire consistent with age. This gorgeous ring features an impressively sized deep blue Burmese sapphire surrounded by lively and sparkling diamonds. From the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, this stunning piece would make a romantic statement engagement ring.
