Victorian Emerald and Diamond Three-Stone Ring
About the Item
A Victorian emerald and diamond three-stone ring, the cushion-shape faceted emerald, weighing 1.88 carats, set between two round old European-cut diamonds weighing 2.30 carats in total, all claw-set with old-cut diamonds in-between, to a gold mount with scroll engraved sides and shoulders, marked 18ct, circa 1890, head measuring 0.9x2.2cm, gross weight 5.2 grams. This ring is in very good condition, signs of wear consistent with the age of the piece.
A beautiful Victorian ring from the extensive antique ring collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. This piece features a gorgeous central emerald boarded on either side by a dazzling diamond. Three stone rings are romantic, symbolising a couple’s past, present and future, making this ring a perfect antique engagement ring.
