An Edwardian emerald and diamond five-stone ring
About the Item
An Edwardian emerald and diamond five-stone ring, the three octagonal-cut faceted emeralds estimated to weigh 0.35 carats in total, the two old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a further total of 0.4 carats, all claw-set in yellow gold mount, circa 1910, measuring 2 x 0.5cm, finger size O, gross weight 2.4 grams.
This antique ring is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold.
A stunning emerald and diamond ring from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. The bright, vivid green of the three emeralds offers a striking contrast to the beautiful old-European cut diamonds set between. Set along the head of the ring, the gleaming gemstones complement each other magnificently, and would make a wonderful addition to any woman’s jewellery box.
