Retro Cabochon Moonstone and Pavé Set Diamond Navette Ring
About the Item
This outstanding moonstone ring from the late Retro (ca1950s) era is absolutely exquisite! Crated in vibrant 18kt yellow gold, the ring has an elongated oval shape which features a large cabochon moonstone in the center. The moonstone is bezel set, and has a wonderful translucent blue color and vibrant flashes that catch beautifully in the light. Encircling the moonstone is a sparkling, pavé diamond encrusted frame which gives the ring an incredibly glamorous appearance. The base of the mounting reveals an ornate wirework design with flowing, cutout swirls and each shoulder is detailed with 3 additional bead set diamonds in a graduated row. This fabulous ring looks stunning when worn and would make a dazzling everyday piece, or would be perfect for special occasions!
The ring has a finger size 6.25 but could be easily re-sized.
The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the moonstone and all of the diamonds are intact.
