About the Item

A Roman ring, dated around the 1st-3rd century, with a garnet cabochon in the center. A fine filigree motif adorns the frame of the sash and two snakes at the top complete it, which were always associated with protection in ancient Rome. The garnet, likewise, has always been considered a protective talisman and an amulet for courage and inner strength. Period: I-III century ca. Ring size: 9 ¾ Weight: 7,76 gr
