The band reads 'IN MEMORY OF' within gold foliate border, and is inscribed to the interior 'Owen Rees, Esq Ob 5 Sep 1837, Aet 67.'. The ring is hallmarked with London marks, 1837, the makers mark 'WK', and '18' to denote 18 carat gold. Period: - Early 19th Century. Date: - 1837. Engraving: - 'Owen Rees, Esq Ob 5 Sep 1837, Aet 67.'. Measurement: - UK ring size O (leading edge). US ring size 7 1/2 (leading edge). The band measures 8.0mm in width. Weight: - 6.1 grams. Condition: - The band and the enamel on the ring are both in good condition, displaying minor surface scratches commensurate with age. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
