About the Item

A Ring, period ca. 1920s -1930s with a wide band and neat crown being an openwork of filigree ornaments surrounding bezel set oval cabochon of natural vibrant Green Jade of the finest quality. Stone is about 13 mm x 8 mm x 4.75 mm deep / ca. 3.5 ct. No hallmarks. Metal tested solid 18K Gold. Face is 32mm long x 19 mm wide x 5 mm deep. Size: Ø 5.5 US /16.1 mm. Sizing is possible. Weight: 10 grams Fine used condition. Stone has a tiny tight crack which often occurs in Jade stones naturally. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post. CUSTOM WORK : About Resizing: Resizing of rings can be done on request.The work will be done by experienced professional jeweler. We will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose , if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed.
