About the Item

A Ring with claw set natural Carnelian stone oval cabochon cut 22 mm x 12 mm x 6 mm deep / ca 12 ct. Color of stone is dark Orange ( not Red). The color may change depending on light conditions. Crown is 9 mm deep. European, ca. 1920s - 1930s. Hallmarked / tested 18K Yellow Gold. Size Ø 5.75 US / 16.3 mm. Sizing is possible. Weight: 4.6 grams. In finest used condition. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Some buyers tried to make return of the items and to avoid paying shipping and restock expenses claimed that : " color is different from that on image .. " there are inclusions that I didn't notice " "it looks smaller than I expected" .. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post.
