About the Item
The unicorn cut diamond that everyone is after! And this one happens to be in our favorite color/clarity combination for this cut. This is a GIA certified 5.01 Carat D color Si2 clarity. Cushions absorb color more than any other shape so we like to stay in the whiter/higher color category. The Si2 is 100% eye clean with which makes it the best combination. You get the benefit of a D color without over paying. Now for the unicorn part. Everyone is looking for these elongated cushions but the most standard ratio for them in the elongated world is 1.20 ratio. Because cushions are typically deep cut stones its not so easy to make them elongated with such a big spread and not shaving off too much diamond from the rough. This one is a 1.42 ratio and almost 13 millimeter in a 5 carat diamond which is very rare to find. only a 58% depth. We placed it in a custom made platinum solitaire to showcase the diamond on its on. Its the star of the show. If you want to make it into a different style ring, we can do that as well. Maybe add some pave or hidden halo. Currently a size 6.5 but can be sized as needed.
