About the Item

Vintage cluster / cocktail Ring decorated with natural Rubies and Diamonds. Likely European, ca. 1950s - 1960s. Band hallmarked 375 / made of solid 9K Yellow Gold. Openwork dome shaped six - pointed crown measures 22 mm x 22 mm X 10 mm deep with Back side concave shaped for best fit. 18 oval cut natural Rubies of vibrant Red color measuring 5 mm x 3 mm x 2.5 mm deep / ca 0.4 ct each. Total weight of Rubies ca. 7ctw. Some show minor inclusions and flaws inside. 13 diamond cut natural Diamonds in White Gold settings measuring Ø 1.5mm / 0.015ct , total weight ca 0.2ctw,color ca F,G / VS. All stones with open backs. Size : Ø 6.75 US / 17. 13 mm. Can be sized for extra. Weight: 4.4 grams. Used finest condition.No missing or replaced stones.All claws in great shape. Rubies show no signs of wear on facets. Fine design, very accurate and precise pro work, beautifully colored and cut Rubies, Diamonds in proper White Gold settings. Actual 9K Gold alloy may seem to be a bit of disadvantage of this design but in reality such alloy is physically harder than 18K or 14K alloys and much less pliable to deformations and damage and that may well matter in a long run.
