Edwardian Diamond and Cultured Pearl Three-Stone Ring

About the Item

An Edwardian diamond and cultured pearl three-stone ring, the central cultured pearl, measuring approximately 6.85 mm diameter, set between two old brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing a total of 1.76cts, all vertical set to a gold open backed mount with diamond-set shoulders, circa 1920, later hallmarked 18ct gold London 2012, bearing the Bentley and Skinner sponsor mark, the head measuring approximately 1.9x0.7cm, gross weight 4.3 grams. Finger size L This ring is in fine condition. This stunning Edwardian ring comes from the extensive collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. It features a delicate diamond set yellow gold band, on which is set a central nacreous pearl. The pearl is set between two dazzling diamonds that catch the light beautifully. This sophisticated piece is emblematic of the design of the Edwardian period, which favoured more simple styles over the more ornate styles of the Victorian period before it. The finger size of most of our rings can be adjusted and our workshop will be happy to do this free of charge. If you do not know your finger size please request us to post you a finger measure. Should you choose to make this purchase we would be delighted to send it to you in a Bentley & Skinner handmade leather case packed in a gift-wrapped Bentley & Skinner black and gold presentation box. Shortly afterwards we will send you on a valuation for insurance purposes for your reference and safekeeping.
