A wonderful George II baluster form sterling silver 1/2 pint mug. By Richard Gurney & Thomas Cook in 1733. With an engraved family crest to the front & the applied cast double scroll handle to the reverse. Simply a lovely English sterling silver mug or cup! Date: 1733 Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Engraved: Engraved to the front with a family crest. Maker: Richard Gurney & Thomas Cook Marks: Marked to the base with English hallmarks with Gurney & Cook's maker's mark / Lion passant for sterling / crowned leopard for London / S for 1733.
