ROYAL SILVERSMITH
An important 1843 English sterling silver hand decorated
18th century style petal rim tazza.
From the renowned London firm of Robert Garrard,
Silversmiths to Queen Victoria.
The firm dates to John Wickes 1722. Royal Jewelers to the Prince of Wales.
Garrard awarded the Royal warrant by Queen Victoria, In 1843
and continued Royal patronage for six successive monarchs.
Hallmarked as shown.
This 180 year-old sterling tazza is 10 inches across and almost 30 standard-ounces.
In very fine condition
Rich silver patina throughout.
Retains the original hand carved detail.
Stands firm on table.
Never monogrammed.
