This rare antique mid XVIII c. Rattail Sterling Silver Spoon is bearing London hallmarks, lion passant & letter “G” Length: 20.5cm Weight: 53.9gr. The label ‘rats-tail’ comes from the long thin support to the back of the bowl, designed to strengthen the join between the cast handle and the bowl.
