About the Item

Handsome antique Russian solid 84 Silver Tea Glass Holder or a tea-drinking Mug /Cup and a matching dish. I'm not sure if this Cup is supposed to be used as a Mug / Cup to drink from or there should be some sort of a Glass insert. Anyway, it can well be used without any glass part. Beautiful pieces with matching hand-engraved decorations. Engraved inscription in Russian on the holder " ПЕЙТЕ НА ЗДОРОВЬЕ " / exact translation is " Drink for Your Health " Both pieces have matching hallmarks indicating that both were made of solid 84 Russian Silver in 1888 AD, city of Moscow ,maker's hallmarks "AA" for Andrey Andreeivich Aleksandrov " / Александров Андрей Андреевич (1859-1916) Measurements: glass holder is 10.2 cm long /Ø 65 mm inside. Weight: 108 grams. Saucer: Ø14 cm / Weight: 118 grams Condition is like new,no apparent dents.
