Hamilton Railroad Grade U.S. Ordinance Pocket Watch w Original Packaging

About the Item

With original issued packaging and in operating condition, this interesting timepiece dates back circa 1960 Vietnam era. Issued by U.S. Army Ordinance Department 6645-679-821, this steel Hamilton Railroad Grade Pocket Watch was designed for use by US Air Force Navigators and Bombardiers. Dated September 1960, contract No. OE-54, Hamilton Serial No. C41743 with their most accurate railroad grade movement 992B. The watch has a simple and readable white "Monty" dial with large bold black Arabic Numerals and features an outer track with individual minutes numbered 1-60 to ensure accurate time readings along with its subsidiary second hand dial. The timepiece is accompanied by its original military issue removable protective rubber housing. In remarkable original condition, the crystal is in mint condition. The case back shows light wear with all the original identifying markers still visible. Great item for collectors.
