L Aiglon. An Enamel 14ct Yellow Gold Keyless Lever Full Hunter Pocket Watch C1900s
Dial: The Gold Champagne dial signed L' Aiglon with a retailers signature in the Persian language of Farsi signed underneath. The Arabic numerals with outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at six o' clock and with original blued steel hands and matching seconds hand.
Case: The Full hunter case with a beautiful Art Nouveau painting in enamel of a fairy and a number of brightly coloured butterflies. The back of the case is in a matt finish. The inner case is signed L' Aiglon with a all the Medals of Honour which the company has won. The cases are all Swiss hallmarked for 14ct Gold
Movement: The top quality nickel finished keyless lever movement with compensation balance, fast slow regulation and Breguet overcoil hairspring.
This watch is indeed a very pretty and elegant watch which epitomises the Belle poch era of the Art Nouveau period. It is rare to see watches that were exported to Iran formally know as Persia. We sell this watch with our own certificate of authenticity and a one year guarantee.

Dial: The excellent white enamel dial with Roman Numerals, outer minute track with Arabic numbers at five minute intervals, subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock and gold original spade hands with a blued steel seconds hand.
Case: The heavy 18ct rose gold half hunter case with inlaid blue enamel Roman numerals to the front of the case. The rear of the case is beautifully enamelled with the Coat of Arms of General Friedrich Wilhem von Steuben. The inner case is engraved Chronometre a l' Esperance, 33 Bould st Martin Paris. The cases are all numbered and marked18Kt Gold.
Movement: The superb nickel finished, highly jewelled movement with keyless pivoted detente chronometre escapement Breguet overcoil hairspring and fast slow regulation.
