Miniature pendant watch designed by LeCoultre Et Co.
This is a very unusual, very fine and small antique pendant watch crafted LeCoultre El Co. in Switzerland in solid silver with yellow accents. The antique pendant watch is over hundred years old and was made in the late 19th century, circa 1890. The case in entirely decorated with a pave setting of earth mined natural gemstones such: rose-cut diamonds and rubies. The tiny watch has a white porcelain enamel dial with black Breguet numerals. The watch is very rare and has a pendant wind pin set cylinder escapement gilt movement.
Dial: Round in white porcelain enamel with black Breguet numerals and gold hands.
Movement: Mechanical manual gilt pendant wind pin set cylinder escapement and signed LeCoultre and Cie.
Case: Silver body paved with old mine cut diamonds and three rubies, curvex glass.
Diamonds: Mount in a pave setting, with 158 antique old European rose cuts diamonds, 4.84 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity
Rubies: Mounted in flush settings, with 3 fancy hexagonal faceted cuts of natural intense red rubies with a total of 0.45 carats.
Weight: 10.5 Grams, (6.73 Dwt).
Measurements: 30 mm by 19 mm (1.18 x 0.75 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped inside the case and the movement with Swiss control marks, the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "LECOULTRE ET CIE 80105".
Collateral: This pendant watch is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this watch is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. All gemstones are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
