Art Deco diamond and synthetic ruby odeonesque concealed bracelet and cocktail watch in 19.2kt yellow gold and platinum, signed Titus, Portugal, 1940s. This exquisite piece boasts a dual identity, seamlessly merging the allure of fine jewelry with the practicality of a timepiece.
Fashioned as an open cuff bangle bracelet in polished yellow gold, the odeonesque top is adorned with a mesmerizing display of single-cut diamonds and channel-set synthetic rubies of a vivid purplish-red color, evoking the opulence of the era. The distinctive odeonesque design, characterized by tiers of gemstones reminiscent of tiered seating in music and picture halls, adds a touch of vintage glamour to this exceptional piece.
At its heart lies a remarkable secret: concealed within the hinged central ruby section is a rectangular manual-winding mechanical watch signed by Titus with Arabic numerals at the cardinal points and blued steel hands.
