An English mahogany washstand table from the Mid-19th Century, with grey veined marble top, three-quarter frame, turned legs and brass casters. Created in England during the second quarter of the 19th century, this mahogany washstand table features a rectangular grey veined marble top surrounded by a three quarter frame. This is where traditionally a porcelain bowl would be displayed and filled with water. The apron is delicately accented with reeded motifs and the table is raised on four slender turned legs with carved details. The table features a rectangular top showcasing an exquisite scene with pagodas in traditional landscapes with figures engaged in various activities.
